Bay Area Book Artists (BABA)
BABA is a subgroup of the South Bay Area Women’s Caucus for Art (SBAWCA). Membership in BCWCA is $70/year. BABA’s members put together exhibitions and provide a support network for book artists in the South Bay. To join ZBAWCA, visit their website or email membership chairperson Ginni Savalli. Hand Bookbinders of California (HBC)

The HBC was started in 1972 for those with interest in creating and collecting fine bindings. The group offers workshops, lectures, social activities and exhibitions.
Mills College Center for the Book
Programs at the Center include publications, lectures and workshops by Resources and visiting book artists and historians, exhibitions, conferences and more.
Pacific Center for Book Arts (PCBA)

The PCBA offers workshops and exhibitions and sponsors fun events like the Book Arts & Printers Fair and an annual “Bind-Off.” The group also publishes the popular journal, Ampersand, as well as a newsletter, etc..
San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB)
The SFCB offers an amazing selection of book arts and related classes. Their classes are detailed on their website. They also host many exhibitions and other great events. Their website is very well-maintained and updated frequently.

CSP sponsors exhibitions, carries out educational activities and publishes a journal, The California Printmaker. Call or email for a membership application.
